During the casting process, the injected molten contains oxides and nitride smuts that deteriorates the malleability of the alloyed aluminum and reduces tensile strength of the casted parts. Therefore, homogenized degasification is very much desired. By blowing gas into the casting chamber, or injecting mixing-agent into the liquefied alloy to cause chemical reaction, it generates hydrogen-free bubbles. These bubbles are used to absorb hydrogen and attract oxide smut when they move up till they rise to the surface of the molten so that degasification and removal of smuts can now be fulfilled.

The Degasser utilized at Victory is a stationary rotary motor device equipped with a hydraulic lifting system, which effectively reduces gases and smuts from casting parts and improves the inherent quality of finished products.
